iDictionary

The iDictionary is a comprehensive multilingual dictionary, which can be used to translate between English and any of the four major European languages: French, German, Russian and Spanish. It is built around dependable word databases of more than 240,000 translation pairs in French, 320,000 in German, 210,000 in Russian, and 160,000 in Spanish. The application has a clean user interface, and the dictionary contents are presented in a concise single column list without any cryptic abbreviations or lengthy definitions. The search process is fast and efficient. You simply type the first couple of letters of a word and are immediately able to see all applicable entries along with their translations. The dictionary is completely self-contained - no internet connection or additional purchases are needed. It is ideal for work, school, travel or leisure reading.
